HARRYS FIRST ROOM TO BE DECORATED.

This is the room located on A&E. The room is spilt in two, so one room (which is the pictures at the top) will be used to spend time with your loved one and the other room will have chairs in and a coffee machine and will be used to have interviews or for family to talk in.
The rooms are going to be decorated the same, they will both have cloud wall paper just on one wall and will be painted in a light blue. The floor will reflected the wall paper and will be blue and have a cloud in the centre off it, with a sparkling effect. There is a window in the first part of the room which we are going to have  stained glass in maybe a picture of an angel. The lighting in this room will be LED lighting and will reflect the stars at night. Both rooms will have sound proff doors in them so they are completely private from the outside world.
The furnishing will be comfortable, with a sofa in the first room and chairs in the second. There will also be music in the rooms if families wish to have it on. The cold cot will be located in the first room in the event off a child's bereavement.
This room will be used for children and adults who have gone to join the angels, and I hope will provide their families with a special place in which they can say their goodbyes.  
This room i am going over to Leighton hospital some time in the next month and will be having a meeting in which we will be picking furniture and stetting a date for work to start.

WE HAVE DONE IT

TODAY WE REACH OUR TARGET OFF 20,000. IT IS AN AMAZING JOURNEY STARTING OUT WITH NOTHING AND THEN REACHING OUR GOAL OF 20,000.

 It has been down to the love and support of family and friends and all their hard work to help us get here. This money will help us to start decorating the rooms and will help to make a difference to peoples experience of the hospital environment.

Weekend of Fundraising Boosts Our Fund!

What a fantastic evening with family and friends at a special band night with Beaver on Saturday Night, raising well over £500 for the fund, and a cycle ride from Manchester to Blackpool adding a further £500 to the fund we are edging closer and closer to our target.

One last big push and we should get to the £20000 we need

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK PART IN MAKING THE CAR WASHING EVENT A SUCCESS. STAFF FROM GEORGE BELLS WASHED CARS FROM 8.30 IN THE MORNING TO 4.00PM. THEY WERE LOTS OF LOVELY CAKES TO EAT MADE BY STAFF WHILST YOU WAITED FOR YOUR CAR.

MY RESULTS

MUMMY SPOKE TO THE SPECIAL CHILDREN'S DOCTOR TODAY, WHO EXPLAINED MY RESULTS TO HER. THE DOCTOR EXPLAINED TO MY MUMMY THAT I HAD TWO DIFFERENT VIRUS, ONE OF THE VIRUS WAS A BIT  LIKE HAVING A COLD AND THE OTHER ONE GAVE ME A  POORLY CHEST. THEY HAVE FUNNY NAMES WHICH MY MUMMY CAN'T SPELL.

IT WAS THESE VIRUS THAT HAD AN AFFECT ON THE PART OF MY BRAIN WHICH TELLS ME WHEN TO BREATH AND I FORGOT TO BREATH.

Oh What A Night!!

What a marvellous night we had! - Over 200 people turned up to support us at the Charity Auction on Saturday Night!

The Auction, a Hot Pot Supper, Sponsored Leg Wax  (ouch!!) and disco dancing until the early hours, all contributed to a fantastic evening. 
We raised over £5000 (and still counting!) and lots of people left with great prizes and exciting promises.
Thanks to everyone who was involved (and there were lots of hands to help!!) - the room looked amazing with the gorgeous balloons, the food was delicious, the disco music kept us all moving - and Peter our auctioneer (and his lovely assistant wife) was a star!
The generosity of our friends who donated such fabulous promises and prizes for the tombola will never be forgotten!.
We are looking forward to the next event and sincerely hope you will all join us again!

How I Came To Heaven

I gave my sister a big night kiss and waved to her as my mummy took me to bed, mummy put me in the cot and I gave her a smile as she put my dummy in my mouth . I then went to sleep during the night I woke up for my dummy and daddy came and put my dummy in, which I smiled at him and fell back a sleep.
During the night mummy and daddy came to me and put my dummy in as it kept falling out. It was then that the angels came to see me, and ask me if i wanted to go and play with them.

A poem for Harry

God must have needed an angel this week so he knocked upon your door.
A perfect boy with a beautiful smile with innocence to the core.
The angels told God of Harry and said he was "the one".
God said is "there no other child" and the angels replied "theres none"
So the angels and god sat down with Harry and went on to explain;
Harry smiled as he understood then passed with no pain.

When Harry got to heavens gate, his little face gleamed with joy,
The angels sang and cuddle him all agreeing "what a perfect boy"

This is a little bit about my life.......

I was born into this world on the 30th of July 2009.  I was in such a rush i arrived on my nanny's living room floor at night ( my Mummy just couldn't wait to see me). As you can all imagine this caused alot of excitement for everyone !!

I have a big sister ( who i love to watch playing) her name is ruby. She loved to play with me, especially putting me in her dolls pram!!! and getting in my cot in the mornings. I also have alot of cousins who loved to chase me around and get me squealing.

I was always happy and loved to laugh and play, especially when i could help my mummy clean up' in the end she even got me my own dust pan and brush!  My most favorite thing to do was to eat !and i loved having something in my hand, in fact i liked to have something in both hands! I wasn't mean and always shared even if it was soggy!! he he!!
